Elevations and Cut section

The two long side building elevation show what are the basic programs existing on top of the ground. The orange volume, which is the main auditorium sits on the top middle in the drawing. There are also two wrapping path (in orange) show in each elevation which leads the people from the ground garden to the roof garden. The green color represent the glazing where the grand stair is hidden behind the glass. The purple box works mainly as a back stage and practice space. The sloped rectangular is maintain in the elevation to keep the dynamic motion of the performance center.
A underground movie theater is showing only in the section cut of the building, which is the lower corner of the rectangular box. Actually, all the stair cases, which lead to the basement theater, the main auditorium and all the seating has the same slope, which generate the parallel conditions inside the building. And it also helps to direct the people onto the upper level, where the lung bar is located.

  1. your spaces are logically laid out per your programme analysis. I would like to see some plans again to see how this sectional and elevational study has affected them. With the limited amount of innformation I am looking at here, I can only say that your spaces feel rather cramped. It is mose definitely a function of stuffing programme into forms that you "like" rather than letting the forms evolve into what they need to be functionally. See what you can do to let this building breathe a bit.

  2. I would like to see how it works with the site. What materials are you thinking of using?

  3. I agree with both comments.

    Updated plans and material options.
I would like to see site plans as I am not sure if it works in that context.

Don't be afraid that the design outcome might be something different than you envisioned before. What's important is if your architecture "works".
